Kazimierz renews its certificate
Kazimierz Office Center building in Kraków has again passed the BREEAM In-Use certification process. It received one of the highest Excellent ratings in both categories: Asset Performance and Building Management. The office building is managed and leased by BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland. GLL Real Estate Partners is the owner.

In 2017, the office building located in the vicinity of Galeria Kazimierz and Kotlarski Bridge was one of the first in Kraków to boast such a high rating of the eco-certificate awarded by Building Reserch Establishment Global. After three years, the quality of the building, which offers over 16,000 sqm of modern office space across five floors, the way it is managed, as well as its impact on the environment, allowed the Kazimierz Office Center complex to be rated “Excellent” again. The certification process includes assessing several dozen factors, such as: the energy efficiency of the building, the method of waste management or reduction of emission levels.
We are pleased that the building has once again become part of the BREEAM certification standards at the “Excellent” level. Providing supporting services to tenants, we see that they are paying more and more attention to the fact whether an office building is designed and built in accordance with the principles of sustainable building, i.e. if it is environmentally friendly and energy-efficient. Additionally, it should also be managed in a way that minimises its environmental footprint and maximises the comfort of occupants and visitors. The standard of the office complex includes: suspended ceilings, raised floors as well as BMS and HVAC systems and modern telecommunications systems ensuring comfort and stability of work. In addition to 16,000 sqm of class A office space, Kazimierz Office Center also houses retail premises, and employees and guests can use a two-storey underground car park with over 200 parking spaces. One of great advantage of the building is natural lighting of the majority of premises, as well as the vicinity of a modern shopping and entertainment centre with a rich offer of not only shops and service outlets, but also of its food court. One of the anchor tenants of the office project is State Street, a global financial institution providing services to institutional investors, including funds and insurers.
