NDI will expand the CLIP intermodal terminal
The Sopot-based NDI group submitted the best offer and signed a contract for the second stage of the expansion of the CLIP intermodal container terminal in Jasin near Poznań. The contract value is almost PLN 30.5 million net. The investor is Centrum Logistyczno Inwestycyjne Poznań II. Implementation will last until the end of this year.
At this stage of works, the construction of the southern terminal plate along with the road and track system will be continued. A total of 7 km of new tracks will be built, including 15 turnouts. The surface area of the reinforced concrete terminal slab will be as much as 28,620 m2. 4.5 km of overhead line networks will also be built.
The general contractor – NDI group companies are tasked with connecting the existing system of roads, tracks and terminals with the new stage. The scope of works also includes the removal of system and field clashes (electricity, telecommunication and drainage clashes, as well as those related to the need to build engineering facilities) and the construction of accompanying infrastructure elements, e.g. the overhead line network, teletechnical and electricity duct systems and drainage system, construction of railway scales.
