Bank Millennium awarded the title of Poland’s Best Employer 2021

Bank Millennium came second on the ranking list of best employers in banking and financial services. Among 30 best employers listed in the ranking.

The ranking by Forbes magazine and the Statista research company was created on the basis of a survey of more than 10,000 employees. The ranking list comprises 300 companies selected from among approx. 1800 employers, each employing at least 250 staff in Poland, whose outstanding achievements in HR were honoured with the title of best employer.

– The second place on the list of best employers of the banking sector in 2021, drawn-up on the basis of opinions and recommendations of employees, gives us great joy, especially in such difficult times of the pandemic. The bank’s high place confirms that we are a stable and safe employer, well prepared for changes and challenges, and most importantly – appreciated by employees and the environment. Thank you very much for such a good opinion and assessment. Employees are our best ambassadors. I congratulate all companies, which are on the list – Joao Bras Jorge, Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Millennium, said.

The ranking was based on direct and indirect recommendations, in which the respondents in anonymous questionnaires expressed the readiness to recommend their employer or other companies from the sector. In order to identify the key factors, which led to the success of companies in the ranking, the employees were asked also for opinions about several dozen statements describing the employer’s activity in key seven areas: image and growth, development and prospects, relations between employees and management, salary, working conditions and equipment, sustainable development and workload.

The survey was made during the pandemic, which in many companies meant a revolutionary approach to employees and their needs. In drafting the questions authors of the survey focused mainly on aspects related to building a climate of community and answering the question: did the employer pass the test.

– The high place of Millennium in Poland’s Best Employers 2021 Ranking is very important for us as a company and as a community, especially as last year was particularly difficult for us. Thanks to the values analysed in the survey, in spite of the crisis and uncertainty, the community of our employees was consolidated. We try to build together a friendly climate of cooperation every day, to support each other, listed to needs and also build our resilience to threats, to react and adapt to changes. We are an employer, for which protecting the life and health of employees during the pandemic is a priority. We do everything in our power for each of us to feel safe at work and to have strong support in the team as well as in the bank. Commitment of employees, optimisation and digitalisation of processes as well as of the way we communicate, usually remotely, give me faith in our ability to adapt.
