The competition “OHS – Safety pays off” has been resolved

We come back to the unconventional Wiecha event at the construction site of Miasteczko U-City in the Ursus district of Warsaw, combined with laying the cornerstone, organized together with the international developer ACCIONA Nieruchomości.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, together with the Acciona Group, we changed the traditional form of the “Topping out” celebration. We had linked a typical construction event with the financial support of the Powiśle Social Foundation, which helps children in need. Also we had organized an action focused on employees safety, successfully completed with a competition promoting health and safety under the slogan “Safety pays off “.

For nearly two months, the participants of the competition were thoroughly assessed by the competition jury and collected points for the best practices and for promoting compliance with occupational health and safety regulations among other employees every day.

To our common joy, our campaign met with great interest and activity of the participants, therefore, apart from the 3 main prizes, we also awarded 2 distinctions. All winners received diplomas and financial prizes. Health and safety are the key issues in the implementation of any investment, so we are happy that the highest standards of occupational health and safety accompany all construction workers on a daily basis, and our competition could contribute to promoting safety in an accessible and mobilizing way for all employees.
