EC speakers: Kamil Wyszkowski „The challenges of humanity in connection with the climate crisis”
On November 24, the 6th edition of the “Sustainable Economy Summit” conference took place, during which the topic of sustainable development and its responsibilitiessocial and environmental was discussed. This year’s edition of the conference organized by Executive Club took a unique form – the event was held online and was broadcasted live on the YouTube channel. The program of the sixth edition of the conference included two discussion panels, speeches by special guests, and interviews with leading figures of Polish business. The conference ended with the announcement of nominations for awards in the competition “Sustainable Economy Awards”.
One of the speakers was Kamil Wyszkowski – Representative and President of the Council of Global Compact Network Poland – Initiatives of UN Secretary General. The speaker in his presentation included an analysis of the current situation and he warned of the consequences of human activities that directly affect climate change. Kamil Wyszkowski, calling for a reaction, mentioned that if we won’t react and take appropriate action, it is possible that by 2300 there will be the necessity for warm-blooded species to withdraw towards the northern part of the planet.
