Yet again, Bank Millennium is the best digital bank according to the Global Finance Magazine

Bank Millennium received the Best Consumer Digital Bank in Poland award for 2021 in the World’s Best Digital Banks competition organised by the renowned Global Finance Magazine. This is yet another international award for the Bank’s achievements this year.

– The pandemic has not stopped us, on the contrary. Just after the outbreak of the pandemic we stepped-up our efforts in digitisation, launching a number of innovative solutions facilitating acquisition and management of financial products in a secure, convenient and fully remote form. The fact that for years, we have been focussing on development of remote channels allowed us to immediately adjust our services to the new reality and help our clients adapt to it extremely fast. Our satisfied clients and awards received from international experts confirm that we have coped very well with this unprecedented challenge – commented Joao Bras Jorge, Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Millennium.

– With the global pandemic forcing people to conduct their personal and professional banking activities from their phones, tablets and computers, Digital Banking reached a watershed moment. It took on an importance and prevalence far beyond anything that had come before. – said Joseph Giarraputo, Publisher and Editorial Director of Global Finance. – Banks were forced to respond to this drastically altered landscape, and those that met the challenge most successfully will be honoured as Global Finance’s World’s Best Digital Banks 2021.

Winners were selected from the applications evaluated by world class jury panel Infosys. Global Finance editors were responsible for the final selection of the winners. Effectiveness of the digital client service strategy, growth in the number of clients using digital services or the range of product offer, and benefits of digital initiatives were some of the evaluated factors.

This is yet another Bank Millennium’s international award this year. In May, Bank Millennium was hailed the Best Bank in Poland in the annual Best Bank Awards competition and the Bank’s open banking services received the Innovators 2021 award in other competitions organised by the Global Finance Magazine. Bank Millennium open banking services were also appreciated by global company Celent with its Model Bank Awards in March. And in February this year Bank Millennium was acclaimed one of top ten most digitally advanced European banks according to Bain&Company’s benchmarking.
