Mazars in Poland appoints new Partners

The Polish office of Mazars, international audit, tax, and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Joanna Włoch and Krzysztof Stański have been appointed as new Mazars Partners

Joanna Włoch is a statutory auditor and ACCA member. In the recent years she was a director in the Financial Institutions Audit and Advisory Department. She has many years of experience in carrying out advisory projects in the area of due diligence, IFRS/IAS implementation, consulting, and accounting opinions both under Polish and international accounting standards, and other assurance services. As a Partner she will continue to develop the client portfolio and oversee financial audit services for banking groups, insurance companies, leasing companies, investment companies, brokerage houses, investment funds and institutions that handle payment transactions.

The Financial Institutions Audit and Advisory Department was created almost two years ago. Thanks to its high level of competence it currently supports other Mazars teams in Central and Eastern Europe and worldwide.

Krzysztof Stański joined Mazars in Poland in August 2021 as Partner in charge of Quality and Risk Management. He started his professional career 16 years ago as an auditor and for the past 8 years he has specialized in consulting on a wide range of accounting and audit issues within the professional practice department of one of the Big Four firms. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics in Warsaw (SGH), a statutory auditor and ACCA member.

As a partner in charge of Quality and Risk Management, Krzysztof brings to Mazars a wealth of experience and expertise in the area of international accounting standards, audit methodology, review of financial statements, assurance services and related services as well as ethics and independence.
